A shower drain designed for microcement applications
We all know microcement under various brand names such as Mortex, Stuc Deco, Pandomo, Microtopping, Beton Ciré, Aqua Sensa or simply tadelact. This technique has seen increasing popularity in interiors and bathrooms in recent years. For walk-in showers, however, until now it always remained a challenge to apply this finishing method in a sustainable way. Carrodrain therefore developed a brand new installation method for its Liquid linaer shower drain, specifically tailored to walk-in showers with a floor finish in microcement.
Carrodrain also provides a 10-year guarantee on this installation method, just like on all its other products.

What is Carrodrain Liquid?
For years, Carrodrain Liquid has been the solution for walk-in showers finished with all types of screeds such as epoxy or PU. To this is now added a detailed microcement installation method, including a detailed installation video.
The Liquid shower drain was developed in close cooperation with experienced specialists in those flooring techniques. This is a typical feature for all Carrodrain shower drains.
They were all fully coordinated with the final floor finish that will be applied in the shower area.

Elegant and seamless shower drain
After finishing, only a minimal grating opening of 26 mm remains visible - super sleek and completely seamless. After all, that minimalist and discreet design is still gaining importance in modern bathrooms.

Yet the siphon remains easily removable and easy to clean.
Carrodrain Liquid is available in 11 standard colours and in 5 grating lengths: 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 cm. With a microcement, epoxy or polyurethane floor, the insert grating can be coloured in the same colour as the floor finish.
In this way, the shower drain becomes one with the rest of the shower floor.
The placement method is suitable for any brand and type of microcement.
